Section 1
These Terms govern your access to all products, pages, dispatches, and software tools operated by or on behalf of the Society of Open Systems.
These Terms are supplemented by the Privacy Policy. For conduct provisions these Terms prevail; for data handling provisions the Privacy Policy prevails.
Section 2
The Society operates in the open, for the commons, and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or answerable to any government, intergovernmental body, or private corporation.
All software and content are provided for the common good and without warranty.
Section 3
Unless otherwise stated in a specific application's repository, Society software is published under AGPL-3.0.
Dispatch content is published under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 unless a specific dispatch states otherwise.
Section 4
Software and content are provided as is, without warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, or compatibility.
Health-related tools are decision-support aids only and do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Section 5
Do not use Society tools for unlawful purposes, security circumvention, malware, impersonation, surveillance without consent, hateful content, or commercial exploitation that conflicts with AGPL-3.0.
Section 6
Disputes should first be raised directly at oponsystems@icloud.com. Mandatory consumer, employment, and data protection rights remain in effect where applicable.
Material changes will be announced via a Dispatch and reflected in an updated effective date.
